Unite boss's anger at government offer over strikes

The lead national officer of Unite, Onay Kasab, says that the government has "missed yet another opportunity" to avert further strikes after talks falter.

Mr Kasab accused negotiators of adding "productivity" to salary discussions at the last minute, all but sinking talks for a settlement, he said.
