Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole had a fiery exchange with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during question period on ethics and leadership in the House of Commons during Wednesday’s final question period before the house adjourns for the summer.

"Will the prime minister commit to never again break the law?” O’Toole said.

O’Toole pointed to several ethical investigations into the Prime Minister or members of his family, including the WE Charity scandal, and the sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces.

“Does the prime minister feel that his personal ethical conduct sets a bad example for the members of parliament on his team?” O’Toole asked.

Trudeau described O’Toole’s questions as “personal attacks” and reiterated he and his cabinet members are focused on working for Canadians.
