Shadow business secretary Jonathan Reynolds MP discusses Alan Bates rejection of the "cruel" compensation offer he received for the Post Office scandal.

"The inquiry is the right thing to find the answers to this but everyone has agreed that compensation for the people affected is a priority", Mr Reynolds told Kay Burley.

Speaking ahead of Labour hosting its inaugural annual business conference, he said "there are lots of things in the social security system I would like to see changed'.

And when asked about the XL Bully ban coming into force across England and Wales he said "there are sound reasons about the risks to the public, that has resulted us getting to this position".
