Ontario education workers to strike as negotiations stall with government

With the deadline for an agreement looming, talks have broken down between the Ontario government and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which represents 55,000 education workers.

A strike seems inevitable as the union says its members intend to walk off the job Friday, but the government is planning to use legislation it says would ban a strike.
