No education workers’ strike as CUPE, Ontario government reach deal

Parents and students have been on pins and needles this weekend.

They've been anxiously waiting to find out if school will go ahead tomorrow.

The union representing 55,000 education workers and the provincial government had until 5 p.m. eastern today to negotiate a deal to stop a strike — and they managed to reach a deal.
