While New York has beaten back the coronavirus - at least for now - city officials have been slow to reopen entertainment venues, in fear of a second wave.
But live comedy is back - at least outside - giving much-needed laughs to those who want it.
The outdoor shows certainly have a different feel, but it appears to work - for both the comedians and the audience.
