New York City is awakening from a long sleep that was forced by the pandemic and with that cultural life is also returning.Christopher London's Family has been offering free orchestral concerts in Central Park for over 116 years. During to the pandemic they had to cancel all live performances, but decided to pay the musicians anyway.
Their solidarity was very much appreciated by the musicians, who are now looking forward to give their first post-pandemic concert in Central Park.
New York’s Theater district is glad to be back too.Today Bruce Springsteen is giving one of his first shows, breaking the 15 months silence of Broadway with his show 'Springsteen on Broadway. Indeed, Life is coming back to NY almost as if the pandemic were over - A trend that is quite different from life in other countries.
Nevertheless it seems to be a risk that people, especially tourists, are willing to take, although vaccination cards are not required in many places.
Even the little ones feel like the pandemic is almost over.
For now Life seems to be almost like it used to be before the pandemic. Hopefully it will remain this way.
