Myanmar protests resume, internet restored as military circles

Myanmar's military has opened fire on a crowd of protesters in the second largest city of Mandalay, according to local media reports.
The number of casualties is not yet clear.
Earlier in the day, deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi's detention was extended by two weeks.
