Protesters in Myanmar returned to the streets for a fifth consecutive day and a day after rallies were violently broken up by security forces.
They are calling for their elected leaders to be freed and the military government to step down after last week's military coup.
The army cited election fraud as the reason for the takeover.
For more on the protests, Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Bangkok.
