Mississippi tornado: Biden visits Rolling Fork, announces funding for hardest-hit areas | FULL

U.S. President Joe Biden delivered remarks in Rolling Fork, Miss., on Friday following a devastating storm in the state last week, when a powerful tornado swept through, destroying infrastructure and killing at least 25 people.

The president announced federal funding under the federal disaster declaration which includes covering overtime costs for emergency workers, covering the cost to remove all debris, and cash grants to people who lost their homes.

Earlier, Biden was briefed about the response to the storm, toured the area to see the extent of the damage, and met with survivors and first responders.
