Labour non-committal on plans for growing UK army

Shadow Armed forces minister Luke Pollard has told Sky News that a defence and security review would be made 'on day one' if Labour wins the election, but refused to say if Labour would make the army bigger.

He also said that the D-Day anniversary celebrations emphasised how important it was to 'make the effort to tell the stories of the generation that made such sacrifices.'
