Israel protests: Drone video captures scale of massive pro-government demonstrations

Thousands of Israelis flooded Jerusalem on Thursday to show their support for a controversial plan to overhaul the country’s judicial reform.

Drone video captured a sea of blue and white flags as protesters gathered to support the controversial legislation being championed by the far-right coalition government.

Israelis remain polarized over the legislation, which would strip the highest court of much of its powers. Proponents of the legislation say it would restore balance while critics claim it would remove checks on those in power.

For weeks, the country has been gripped by demonstrations against the government and its planned overhaul as protesters have inundated city streets every Saturday since the plan was announced.
