Israel protests: Flights from Tel Aviv airport grounded as demonstrations gather pace

Demonstrations have been taking place in Jerusalem as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's religious-nationalist coalition government has survived a no-confidence motion.

All flights were grounded at Ben Gurion Airport, the country's main international hub, and work at two major seaports - Port of Haifa and Port of Ashdod - was halted, after workers announced a labour strike.
