People in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are bracing themselves as post-tropical cyclone Lee brings strong winds and heavy rain to Atlantic Canada.
The status of a post-tropical cyclone means that it no longer has a warm core — unlike hurricanes and post-tropical storms — though the end result remains the same.
The storm is slowing as it approaches the coast, but reports of power outages are rising while strong winds and high tides expected for mid-afternoon.
Global’s chief meteorologist Anthony Farnell has the details.
