Tens of thousands of people in Atlantic Canada have been left in the dark on Tuesday after strong winds and heavy rain knocked down trees and power lines, cutting off power to over 173,000 customers during the height of the storm. Wind speeds reached over 100 km/h in some areas, including parts of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and western Newfoundland. #AtlanticCanada #Canada #storm #weather #poweroutage #electricity
