As Hurricane Lee approaches Canada’s East Coast, Nova Scotia Power is preparing emergency plans to ensure a quick response to any power outages.
“By Friday, we’ll have crews staged throughout the province,” Nova Scotia Power storm lead Matt Drower.
Drower added emphasis that high-speed winds will be the power company’s biggest concern given the abundance of trees in Nova Scotia.
Hurricane Lee is expected to make landfall in Nova Scotia on Saturday evening. Global’s Skye Bryden-Blom has the latest.
