People from across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia have been taking advantage of fleeting Summer weather this week before Hurricane Lee arrives.

Residents were seen out fishing, surfing and enjoying the sun on Friday, before the anticipated arrival of the hurricane on Saturday.

The tropical storm is expected to make landfall in Nova Scotia Saturday morning and bring winds of more than 120 kph and over 100 millimetres of rain.
