Hurricane Otis has roared into Mexico, making landfall in the beach resort of Acapulco as a Category 5 hurricane — one of the most powerful storms to ever hit the country.
It brought torrential rain and winds of up to 170 km/h, with the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami calling it a “nightmare scenario.”
