The parents of a 12-year-old Prince George, B.C. boy who died by suicide are raising the alarm about online predators.

Police have linked Carson Cleland’s death in October to online sexual extortion, also known as sextortion. Advocates trying to raise awareness say sextortion cases are skyrocketing across Canada, with experts calling it an epidemic.
