There is trepidation for parents across Canada, as families prepare for in-person learning back-to-school, even as children below the age of 12 remain ineligible for a vaccine and cases of the Delta variant keep rising.

Provinces are still trying to keep school mandates up to snuff against the fourth wave of the pandemic, which is being primarily driven by the variant and the unvaccinated.
