How a NHS Foundation Trust has turned one of the longest waiting lists into the shortest

One of the most pressing issues facing the new government is NHS waiting lists, and they have grown yet again.

Some 7.6 million treatments and procedures were waiting to be carried out at the end of May, relating to almost 6.4 million patients.

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has turned one of the longest waiting lists in the country into one of the shortest. Now the government is hoping it can replicate this across England.
