Houston police said Monday that a woman who opened fire in the hallway of Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church, fired off multiple shots.

Two off-duty officers exchanged fire, killing the woman while the seven-year-old child who entered with the suspect was injured.

Investigators said Monday they believed the suspect to be the biological mother of the boy.

Police have identified the woman as 36-year-old Genessee Moreno. Police said investigators recovered "some anti-semitic writings" during a search of the shooter's vehicle, but said they believe she acted alone.
