Alberta's pediatric health system is being pushed to the brink, as hospitals deal with one of the biggest e.coli outbreaks involving young children in Canadian history. So far 142 lab cases have been confirmed, and the number is expected to grow. As Heather Yourex-West reports, some patients are now developing related kidney complications.

It's day two of the Conservative Party convention and 2,500 delegates are meeting in Quebec City, Que., behind closed doors to debate party priorities. Party leader Pierre Poilievre is riding the party's growing popularity in Quebec, as the Conservatives look to make modest but important gains there in the next federal election. David Akin reports.

World leaders have arrived in New Delhi, India, for the G20 summit, set to begin on Saturday. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of this weekend's meetings, with climate change, food security and Russia's invasion of Ukraine expected to dominate talks at this year's summit. But as Touria Izri reports, the prime minister has hinted that foreign interference will also be top of mind.

Hockey Canada is grappling with its history of misogyny and abuse as its new leaders hold a summit in Calgary. The organization hasn't really turned a page on last year's revelations about how it mishandled sexual assault complaints, and the final report investigating an alleged rape involving 2018 junior team players has yet to be released. Mike Drolet reports.

Last year, Hockey Canada signed on with the office of the sport integrity commissioner as part of their conditions to regain their federal funding. That office is responsible for handling complaints made at the national level. For all other complaints to provincial and club level leagues, Hockey Canada contracts an independent third party to investigate, but some are highly critical of this process. David Baxter reports.

The traditional home of Canada's prime ministers, 24 Sussex Drive, is one of the most well-known buildings in this country. The residence has been plagued by old age, a serious rodent problem and major security issues, with questions surrounding whether to restore it or level it. Eric Sorensen reports.

And finally, Friday marks one year since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and King Charles III shared a previously unreleased photo of his mother in tribute. Crystal Goomansingh has more on how the senior royals and some members of the public marked the day.
