The heartbreaking task of searching for survivors of the Lytton wildfire is underway in B.C. As Paul Haysom reports, the fire is one of more than 170 raging across the province, fueled by hot, dry and windy conditions.

There are plans to demolish the remainder of Florida’s Champlain Towers, the condo building near Miami that partially collapsed, killing at least 24 people. The search for more than 100 people still missing, including four Canadians, has entered day 10. Reggie Cecchini reports on the efforts to make sure this kind of disaster never happens again.
