Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday that CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) was “vague” in their allegations during a meeting on election interference regarding former legislative member Vincent Ke.
Ke resigned from the Progressive Conservative party following a Global News report of allegations by intelligence sources that he was involved in an election interference network directed by China’s consulate in Toronto.
Ford added that there is a path for Ke to return to his former position "if he clears his name. If he doesn't clear his name then he's not going to be part of our party."
