Governments around the world are racing to rollout vaccines before new coronavirus variants take hold in their countries.

In Canada, it has been slow going. The federal government has repeatedly said every Canadian who wants a vaccine will get one by September.

But, the number of doses administered has plunged in recent days because promised shipments of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine have stalled.

Further complicating things is the push by Pfizer to stretch the number of doses in each vial. Eric Sorensen reports.
