It has been one month since the first COVID-19 vaccinations were administered in Canada.
The federal government says it is making good progress on buying vaccines. Millions of doses have been ordered, and Pfizer and Moderna have already delivered hundreds of thousands of doses. But, getting vaccines into the arms of Canadians has been slow-going.
As of Wednesday evening, roughly 420,000 doses had been administered in Canada – or just over 1 per cent of the population.
