Louisville Deputy Chief Jeff Fisher said Tuesday that the community remains under a boil water advisory after a devastating fire ripped through Colorado suburbs between Denver and Colorado, destroying nearly 1,000 homes.
The fire came unusually late in the year following a dry fall and a winter nearly devoid of snow. Experts said those conditions, along with high winds, helped the fire spread. Utility officials found no downed power lines around where the fire broke out.
On Saturday, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle said authorities were pursuing a number of tips and had executed a search warrant at "one particular location." However, he declined to provide any further details.
