Criticism over Canada's response to the Taliban crisis in Afghanistan continues to plague Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, even as he tries to campaign for votes in the election.

Some allies, such as the United States and France, are sending buses with special forces to drive their citizens to the airports. But Canadians and the Afghan interpreters are being told to make their own way through the chaotic crowds outside the gates.

As Mercedes Stephenson reports, the Trudeau government insists they are doing well in Kabul, even as at-risk Afghans face fear and confusion trying to get out.
