Mudslides, floods and washed out roads have been reported across California since the latest tempest hit the state from back-to-back atmospheric rivers.

In Isla Vista, Santa Barbara County, a seaside apartment complex faced evacuation due to a cliffside collapse prompted by days of unprecedented rainfall.

The cliff erosion came after Southern California saw days of heavy rain due to powerful atmospheric river hitting the state.
