California storms: Drone video shows part of Highway 33 washed out amid devastating floods

Drone footage from Ventura County, California captured a “badly eroded” section of Highway 33 after “mud, debris and a washout” made the roadway impassable amid a deluge of floods that ravaged the state.

California has been inundated by seven atmospheric rivers that have dumped up to 30 inches of rain over some areas, and at least two more storm systems are set to hit the drenched state and the Pacific Northwest starting Friday.

As many as 19 people have been killed in the storms.
