During the Crimea Platform summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy vowed to restore Ukrainian control over Russia-annexed Crimea, a move that he said would help re-establish "world law and order."

During the international conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said the international community will never accept Russia’s “illegal, imperialist annexation of Ukrainian territory."

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Russia was engaged in “disinformation” if it blamed the current global food crisis on sanctions against Moscow.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Russia’s President Vladimir Putin turned Crimea into an "armed camp" that threatens the rest of Ukraine.

Dozens of countries and international organizations were taking part in the summit in solidarity with Ukraine on the six-month anniversary of the invasion.
