Zelenskyy visits recaptured Kherson, vows to drive Russia from all of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the recaptured city of Kherson after Russian forces retreated last week, vowing to press on until Kyiv reclaims control of all its occupied territory.

"Is this the beginning of the end of the war?... We are ready for peace, peace for all our country, all our territories," Zelenskyy told reporters after addressing Ukrainian troops.

Kherson was one of four regions that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared annexed last month and said would be part of Russia forever. The loss of the regional capital is a major psychological and strategic blow for Moscow.
