With the recent passage of laws in several U.S. states that some call "anti-LGBTQ," advocates on both sides of the border are raising concerns about travel to these states.
Egale Canada is calling on the federal government to issue a travel advisory warning members of the LGBTQ2 community to take precautions when travelling to some states, but are wanting to see even more action before it moves north of the border.
Global's Sean Previl spoke with advocates to learn more about why they're concerned and what members of the community — as well as family members of those who self-identify as a member — should know.
