Which Canadian grocery giants are profiteering amid inflation?

Grocery prices are rising at a rate not seen in 40 years, and every day Canadians aren’t the only ones noticing. In September, the federal NDP called for a parliamentary probe of the rising cost of food to determine whether major grocery store chains were profiteering.

Since then, Canada's top three grocers have posted higher profits this year compared to the average amount over the past five years, according to new research from Dalhousie University.
