As Gaza's medical teams fight to treat the thousands wounded by Israel's military operation, the need to prioritize has become essential. That means precious little care for those who were critically ill before October 7th. Evacuating cancer patients from Gaza's hospitals poses considerable risks, but in the current climate there is almost no alternative.

For more on this, we talk to Shaina Low. She works for the Norwegian Refugee Council and is monitoring the developments from Jerusalem.
