In schools, universal masking indoors and vaccinating everyone who is eligible are crucial steps to sending kids back into the classroom, Dr. Leana Wen told PBS NewsHour correspondent William Brangham. To emphasize the need for these measures in schools, she asked people to consider what it would feel like for adults to work in a room filled with unvaccinated and unmasked coworkers. "We don't have a lot of tools at our disposal. Why wouldn't we want to use them all to protect our children?"
