There is shock and unease among Vancouver's Jewish community after an act of arson resulted in the damage of a local synagogue.

The biggest damage, however? The sense of threat of the community's well-being. In fact, the fire is set to be investigated as a targeted hate crime.

Global's Paul Johnson speaks to the rabbi who says that this is another troubling example of what the community lives with every day.
