Speaking from the White House on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump accused multiple states of voter fraud on Thursday as ballot counting is ongoing across the country in the U.S. presidential election, but offered no tangible evidence to back up his claim. He then “challenged” the Biden campaign to demand that “legal” votes be counted, though there is no evidence that anything other than that very process is what is currently underway.

Earlier Thursday, former Nevada attorney general Adam Laxalt and former director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell announced the Trump campaign was filing a lawsuit to stop the counting of what they called "improper votes."

The Trump campaign alleged there were reports of irregularities in the votes, claiming one voter said she had shown up to vote and could not due to her ballot allegedly already being cast.

It was one of several lawsuits filed by the campaign, with others in Pennsylvania and Michigan, though the latter to stop the count has since been thrown out by a judge. A recount has also been requested in Wisconsin by the campaign.
