Over the past several months, lawmakers in the U.S. have put forward or passed hundreds of bills impacting the LGBTQ2 community.

Among the laws have been those preventing drag performers from being able to perform in public spaces or places where children may be present, with some arguing the legislation is being used to protect children.

As Sean Previl explains, there are concerns it's creating a dangerous environment not just for the performers but the community as a whole, and there's a worry that it could be seen in Canada as well.
