Trudeau begins grappling with post-election promises, mulls new cabinet

More than a week after being re-elected with a minority government, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed his post-election result for the first time in a press conference in Kanata, Ontario.

Trudeau took on questions on the aftermath, what's next for policy, as well as his next cabinet, which will be sworn in next month.

However, Trudeau was also challenged today by the fact the opposition received more votes than his party, and that three of his cabinet ministers were defeated during the vote.
