As Ottawa police take action on defiant and highly determined protesters, officers' concerns are rising for the well-being of children who were brought along to the convoy's occupation.
Authorities estimate about a quarter of the 400 vehicles there have children inside.
In a statement, police say they will report any potential dangers they observe to Children's Aid Society in Ottawa and that there have been ongoing reports regarding welfare concerns.
Global's Abigail Bimman spoke to some of the children's parents about why they brought them there.
