The Toronto Raptors swung two deals on Thursday as the NBA trade deadline passed at 3 p.m.

In a deal with the Utah Jazz, the Raptors acquired veteran power forward and Toronto native Kelly Olynyk as well as 23-year-old Ochai Agjabi.

"We feel like we’re getting a young player with a lot of upside. Hard worker, high character," said Raptors General Manager Bobby Webster.

In a separate deal, the Raptors shipped point guard Dennis Schroder and veteran forward Thad Young to the Brooklyn Nets for Spencer Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie was waived shortly after the deal, giving Toronto more flexibility with the salary cap heading into the off-season.

Global’s Steve Autio has more.
