Crucial trade talks between the European Union and Britain have broken up without a clear decision.
The meeting between Ursula von der Leyen and Boris Johnson in Brussels was aimed at finding a political compromise to break months of deadlock.
Instead, the dinner concluded with both sides admitting that large gaps remain and a final decision will be made at the weekend.
