The Raptors were back in Toronto on Monday after a summer filled with workouts, including those with new development coach Rico Hines.
“Summer was amazing,” said 2021-22 NBA Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, who looks to build on his impressive freshman campaign.
“He’s one of those players of the future,” Team President Masai Ujiri said of Barnes and his potential.
Head Coach Nick Nurse said he thinks his team learned a lot from last season. “We said we could be versatile. Could we be that versatile? Yeah, I think we found out we can,” said Nurse.
