This week marked the bittersweet end of an era for Canadian basketball, after NBA star Kyle Lowry officially announced his goodbye to the Toronto Raptors.

After nine seasons with the team and helping lead their historic NBA championship run in 2019, Lowry is now set to play with the Miami Heat as part of a sign-and-trade deal.

As Seán O'Shea explains, there's no doubt in Toronto that Lowry will go down as the greatest Raptor so far in the team's history, as he leaves behind legions of fans forever grateful even as they see him go.
