Toronto car theft crash: Suspect, victim smash into homes

Residents in Toronto’s Rosedale neighbourhood woke up on Tuesday to a shocking scene after an incident overnight.

Two high-end vehicles crashed into a fence, garden and driveway of two homes.

Witnesses say a couple of Mercedes G-Wagon’s were speeding north on Sherbourne Street and appeared to have missed a turn causing major damage.

A man was arrested at the scene and police say it all happened as the alleged car thief was being chased by the victim.
