A municipality in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo proves that the COVID-19 outbreak can be controlled if 97 percent of all adults are vaccinated.
Serrana achieved a 95-percent drop in fatalities once nearly all adults were inoculated and many say the experiment offers hope to the rest of the country.
Brazil has the world's second-highest number of recorded deaths.
