Law enforcement is facing criticism over how they handled the shooting rampage by the gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers amid reports that witnesses of the Uvalde school shooting had urged police to charge into the building sooner than they had. He said they were working to verify that information amid ongoing criticism of the police response to the rampage that killed 19 students and 2 teachers.
