Millions of people in the Spanish capital, Madrid, and the surrounding region have been voting in a regional election. Tuesday’s poll is being seen as a referendum on the government's handling of the pandemic.
But, as Al Jazeera's Nadim Baba reports, the campaign has also seen polarisation over the role of the far right.
